Hi, I'm Janae.
I’ve been making videos since I was nine years old, long before I realized it could turn into a career. That early curiosity eventually led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinematography in March of 2020 (literally one week before the pandemic hit).
I filmed my first wedding in 2017 and started my photo/video business in 2019. Since then, my goal has stayed the same: creating photos and films where people can truly see themselves.
I don’t believe in stiff posing or cringey prompts. Instead, I focus on natural movement and real interaction so your photos feel like you...not a version of you that was staged for the camera.
When I’m not behind the camera, I'm probably in one of these places...
-at home with my husband, our two boys, and our two dogs
-at my local community theatre (because I was a major theatre kid)
-playing slowpitch softball
And for a completely random fact: I was born exactly at midnight which gives me plenty of reason to celebrate my birthday for 48 straight hours!
